Lead HVAC Installation Technician – Commercial Construction

• Pay Range: $30–$45/hr + Robust Benefits + Company Truck + Fuel Card
• Location: Loveland, CO
• Position Type: Direct Hire
• Shift: M-F 8am-5 PM + OT

How you'll spend your time as a Lead HVAC Installation Technician:

• Lead install, retrofit, and new construction projects with minimal oversight.
• Supervise an apprentice, with room to grow to a 3–4 person crew.
• Read and work from mechanical, piping, and controls drawings.
• Install RTUs, boilers, chillers, split systems, heat pumps, and more.
• Run supply, return, and outside air ductwork, including spiral duct.
• Run hot water, chilled water, and condensate drain piping.
• Install and connect basic low-voltage controls, such as thermostats.
• Verify installs meet spec and code, and troubleshoot leaks and airflow issues.
• Coordinate with GCs and other trades to keep jobs on schedule.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Lead HVAC Installation Technician:

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Construction jobsite experience is required.
• EPA certification, Type II or Universal.
• Brazing certification or demonstrated skill with an oxy/acetylene torch.
• Proven ability to run a jobsite independently.
• Valid Colorado driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Own hand tools and tinning tools.
• Sheet metal fabrication, OSHA, or forklift certification is a plus.
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus, and training is provided.
• Comfortable on ladders, rooftops, man lifts, and in tight spaces.
• Able to carry equipment, including up to second floors.
• Hungry to learn and grow into a larger leadership role.
• High school diploma or GED.
