Lead HVAC Technician
About the role
Quilt is a high-growth startup on a mission to move humanity off of fossil fuel heating to fight climate change. Were building the next generation, of beautifully designed ductless heat pumps and a delightful customer experience.
We are seeking experienced candidates with a desire to grow to install our ductless mini split heat pumps. We are a customer-focused company and top-tier customer service is as much a part of the job as technical skills.
Qualifications
4+ years experience as an HVAC installer or technician.
Strong customer service skills.
Experience with Bay Area building codes is a bonus.
Excellent English communication skills.
Able to lift 50+ pounds, stand, bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen required.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation and start-up of our Quilt ductless systems.
Remove existing heating systems.
Deliver an amazing experience for our customers.
Troubleshoot, service, and perform repairs and replacements on ductless systems.
Ensure site safety and compliance with codes.
Conduct quality control checks on jobs to ensure high-quality results.

This role is a full-time, onsite position based out of our Redwood City headquarters and located at customer sites across the Bay Area.
