About the role

Quilt is a high-growth startup on a mission to move humanity off of fossil fuel heating to fight climate change. Were building the next generation, of beautifully designed ductless heat pumps and a delightful customer experience.

We are seeking experienced candidates with a desire to grow to install our ductless mini split heat pumps. We are a customer-focused company and top-tier customer service is as much a part of the job as technical skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as an HVAC installer or technician.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with Bay Area building codes is a bonus.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds, stand, bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation and start-up of our Quilt ductless systems.
• Remove existing heating systems.
• Deliver an amazing experience for our customers.
• Troubleshoot, service, and perform repairs and replacements on ductless systems.
• Ensure site safety and compliance with codes.
• Conduct quality control checks on jobs to ensure high-quality results.

This role is a full-time, onsite position based out of our Redwood City headquarters and located at customer sites across the Bay Area.
