Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential and light commercial HVAC systems throughout Southwest Houston and the surrounding areas.
- Serve as the team's lead technician, providing advanced troubleshooting, technical expertise, and support on complex service calls.
- Mentor and coach technicians in the field, helping develop technical skills and ensuring quality workmanship.
- Lead by example by maintaining high standards for safety, professionalism, customer service, and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Partner with the Operations team to prioritize service calls, resolve field issues, and maximize efficiency.
- Communicate professionally with customers, explain repair recommendations, and build long-term customer relationships.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure repairs are completed correctly while reducing callbacks and improving overall service quality.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, manage truck inventory, and keep company equipment clean and organized.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential HVAC service and repair experience; light commercial experience is a plus.
- HVAC certification and EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently resolve complex HVAC issues.
- Previous experience mentoring, training, or leading other technicians is preferred.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, electrical troubleshooting, airflow, controls, and combustion systems.
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to customers.
- Strong organizational skills with experience using mobile service software, digital work orders, and tablets or smartphones.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
