Candidates must have substantial hands-on engineering experience working in environments such as:
You understand the realities of production environments and can identify opportunities where AI can improve engineering productivity, operational efficiency, and process visibility.
You have practical experience building production AI solutions, including:
You understand how to build AI that engineers can trust in production environments.
Experience deploying AI in enterprise environments where reliability matters, including:
Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
You'll be successful in this role if you're equally comfortable discussing:
Most importantly, you enjoy applying AI to solve practical engineering problems - not building AI for its own sake.
If you're excited about helping engineers work more efficiently, simplifying complex industrial processes, and delivering AI solutions that improve real manufacturing operations, we'd love to hear from you.
As the technical leader for AI initiatives, you'll define architecture, develop production-grade agentic AI systems, and collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and domain experts to bring practical AI capabilities into an industrial software platform.
As the Lead Industrial Engineer, you'll develop AI solutions that improve how engineers interact with complex industrial systems by:

If your background combines industrial engineering, chemical/process engineering, manufacturing systems, or industrial operations with hands-on experience applying AI to improve production environments, this is an opportunity to have a significant impact. We're looking for an engineer who understands how industrial facilities operate—and who uses AI as a practical tool to improve engineering workflows, accelerate decision making, and streamline production processes.
The ideal candidate started their career solving manufacturing, process, plant, or industrial engineering problems and later adopted AI as a tool to improve those environments.
Important: This role is intended for engineers with significant experience in manufacturing, process engineering, industrial operations, chemical processing, industrial automation, or production systems. Candidates whose experience is primarily software engineering, web development, consumer AI applications, or general-purpose machine learning without industrial domain expertise will not be considered for this role.
Instead, you'll work at the intersection of industrial operations and AI, building intelligent systems that help engineers solve production challenges more efficiently.
Our enterprise visualization platform is used by some of the world's largest industrial organizations across chemical manufacturing, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, power generation, utilities, and other process industries. Your work will enable engineers to transform natural language requests into production-ready process visualizations, engineering dashboards, and operational insights using existing engineering standards, plant documentation, and industrial data.
