Lead Infant Teacher (Daycare)

As the Lead Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, ensuring the safety and well-being of infants, and building strong relationships with families and staff.
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment for infants (ages 6 weeks12 months)
- Develop and implement age-appropriate daily routines
- Respond to infants physical, emotional, and developmental needs
- Maintain accurate records of feeding, diapering, naps, and developmental milestones
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their childs progress and daily activities
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing, nutrition program, and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Preferred or willingness to obtain CDA, Associates, or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting
- Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving practices
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
