Primrose School of Forest Hill is looking for a warm, dependable, and experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our growing school family. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves working with babies and understands the importance of providing nurturing, responsive care during a child's earliest years.
As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom where our youngest children feel secure, supported, and excited to discover the world around them. You'll build meaningful relationships with children and families while supporting important developmental milestones.
At Primrose, you don't have to create curriculum from scratch. Our exclusive Balanced Learning curriculum provides established resources and age-appropriate learning experiences, allowing you to focus on what matters most-connecting with the children in your care and helping them learn, grow, and thrive.
Pay: $19-$21 per hour, based on education, qualifications, credentials, and experience.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position. Our school is open from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM, and we are looking for candidates with flexible availability who can work scheduled opening or closing shifts within our operating hours. No nights or weekends!

Candidates must meet applicable Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Office of Child Care, and COMAR requirements to serve as a qualified Child Care Teacher working with infants.

Candidates who are already qualified to serve as a Maryland Child Care Teacher in an infant classroom and can provide documentation of their qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is nurturing, patient, dependable, positive, and professional. Previous professional experience working with infants in a licensed child care or early childhood education setting is preferred. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a collaborative team member, and someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships with children and families.
Candidates must be available to work a full-time Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility to work scheduled opening or closing shifts during our 7:00 AM-6:00 PM operating hours.
