Be Part of Something Truly Inspiring.

At Tanglewood Conservatories, we don't just build structures — we create innovative, one-of-a-kind works of art that challenge convention and transform spaces. Every project is a custom-crafted masterpiece, shaped by meticulous attention to detail and a passion for design that changes lives. We're not just a team — we're a family, and we're growing.

Now Hiring: Trim Carpenter | Shop + Travel Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Carpenter to work both in our in-house shop and on the road with our installation team. Your role will shift between crafting and preparing work in our shop and traveling to project sites nationwide — the balance will vary based on our project schedule. If you take pride in flawless finish work, thrive in both a shop and field environment, and are ready to bring your craft to remarkable locations across the country — we want to talk to you.

  • Inspect and pack finished materials to ensure they arrive at job sites in perfect condition
  • Lead installation projects with project team to project sites nationwide
  • Execute precise, high-quality trim and finish carpentry on one-of-a-kind custom structures
  • Bring your hand tools — we handle the rest

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years leading construction teams of 3 or more crew members
  • 5+ years of trim carpentry experience, ideally in high-end residential or specialty construction
  • Hands-on experience with wood shop tools, custom millwork, and finish detailing
  • Exceptional precision and an eye for detail in both shop and field settings
  • Ability to read blueprints and work from detailed specifications
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for a role that moves between shop and travel (all travel and per diem covered)

Who You Are:

  • Detail-obsessed and quality-driven — you don't cut corners, whether in the shop or on site
  • A dependable team player others can count on in any environment
  • Professional, organized, and adaptable wherever the work takes you
  • Bonus: OSHA 30 certified
