Lead Installation Technician

The Lead Installation Technician is mainly responsible for building racks and installating projectors, screens, & flat panels. This role is also involved with installing other AV equipment including, cabling fiber optics, racking, and mounting AV devices/control units. 

Essential Duties:

• Installing audio video products and components as specified by blueprints and to specifications.
• Pulling cable, installing connectors, projector mounting/hanging (ceiling mounts) and metal fabrication.
• Loading, configuration, and troubleshooting of Crestron, Extron, AMX and Biamp control systems.
• Assisting with mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring.
• Cisco networking including routers, switches and configuring wireless networks.
• Reading CAD generated prints and building blueprints and riser diagrams.
• Assisting with and performing installation tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner.
• Performing basic math functions.
• Lifting up to 60 lbs., in addition to climbing, crawling, and raising items overhead.
• Performing out of town travel when necessary.
