Position Overview
The Lead Installer I is responsible for overseeing complex installation projects, providing advanced support in fixture installations, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met. This role involves delegating tasks, coordinating with project leaders, and directing the work of other team members. Lead Installer I ensures tasks are completed according to specifications, safety standards, and timelines, while actively mentoring and training less experienced installers to develop team skills. Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee and guide advanced installations and assembly of fixtures, displays, shelving, and signage, ensuring alignment with client specifications and brand standards.
• Delegate tasks to team members, ensuring proper workload distribution and task prioritization.
• Coordinate the setup and installation of display units, promotional signage, seating arrangements, and kitchen fixtures.
• Perform and lead the team in executing resets and remodels, working on various fixtures (steel, gondola, millwork). Some projects will involve moving, removing, tear-down, rebuild and installing new fixtures.
• Ensure that team members adhere to dress code requirements, arrive on time, and properly clock in for each shift
• Conduct mandatory team meetings at start of shift.
• Print, understand and execute schematics/plan-o-grams
• Be mindful of project timelines and task assignments.
• Conduct detailed inspections and quality assurance checks to verify that installations meet company standards for accuracy, safety, and aesthetics.
• Act as a point of contact for project leaders and clients to communicate progress, challenges, and project completion status.
• Mentor, train, and provide guidance to team members on installation techniques, tool usage, and safety protocols.
• Proactively conduct training sessions to improve team members' skills, ensuring knowledge of company standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex installation issues.
• Maintain high standards of safety, ensuring proper use of tools and compliance with safety guidelines at all times.
• Suggest process improvements to optimize efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10 - 12 years of experience in retail installations, merchandising, or related fields.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be in good standing with DAVACO preferred rental car companies.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Advanced proficiency in using hand and power tools, and interpreting layout plans and installation instructions.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks, and train team members effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing circumstances.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, project leaders, and team members.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.

Physical Requirements
• Physical capability to lift, move, and position heavy fixtures and equipment (at least 50 pounds unassisted).
• Stamina stand, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, climb ladders and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

Travel Requirements
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed, including overnight stays.
• Comfortable sharing accommodations with team members.
• Smartphone in good working condition with hands-free capability.
