Lead HVAC Installer

Compensation: $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience

We are hiring an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to oversee residential installation projects and help develop a growing team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to keep jobs moving, support installers in the field, troubleshoot challenging system issues, and provide homeowners with professional service. If you take pride in quality work and enjoy helping others improve, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Lead residential HVAC installations from equipment removal through system startup
- Install air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless systems, thermostats, and related equipment
- Direct, coach, and support installers in the field
- Manage installation quality, productivity, and jobsite safety
- Ensure work meets local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards
- Troubleshoot airflow, electrical, mechanical, and performance issues
- Complete system startups, testing, and final quality inspections
- Communicate with homeowners and explain completed work
- Recommend appropriate equipment options, upgrades, and system improvements
- Enter job details, equipment information, photos, and customer notes in ServiceTitan
- Coordinate with office and service teams to keep projects on schedule
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of residential HVAC installation and service experience
- At least 5 years of leadership or team lead experience
- Strong installation, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills
- Experience using ServiceTitan
- Ability to lead crews and manage projects from start to finish
- Sales experience and confidence discussing solutions with homeowners
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of HVAC codes, safety practices, and manufacturer requirements
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Dependable, organized, and committed to quality workmanship
