Mathnasium is a math-only learning center that helps students in grades Pre-K through 12 understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them. We use the proprietary Mathnasium Method to build confidence, mastery, and a genuine love for learning. Our team is passionate about helping students catch up, keep up, and get ahead in math \u2014 all in a positive, supportive, and structured environment.

Position Summary

We\u2019re looking for an enthusiastic Lead Instructor who can guide students through math instruction while mentoring a team of instructors. This role is ideal for someone who loves math, enjoys leadership, and thrives in a fast-paced after-school environment. This position requires consistent availability Monday\u2013Friday, 2:00\u20137:00 PM.

What You\u2019ll Do

Teach students using the Mathnasium Method and our proven curriculum

Supervise and coach instructors to ensure an effective learning environment

Assign students to instructors and maintain balanced student\u2013teacher ratios

Review and update student learning plans and mastery checks

Administer and grade student assessments

Communicate student progress to parents using Mathnasium reports

Ensure smooth daily operations when the Center Director is unavailable

Create a positive, engaging, and productive learning atmosphere

Qualifications

Required:

Consistent availability Monday\u2013Friday, 2\u20137 PM

Strong math skills through Algebra II and Geometry

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented

Preferred:

Experience teaching or tutoring math (middle school, high school, or college level)

Knowledge of higher-level math (Precalculus, Trigonometry)

Prior leadership or mentoring experience in an academic setting
