As a Lead Utility Cook, you'll prepare high-quality meals for a variety of events, contributing to memorable moments for fans and guests.**Responsibilities:**+ Supervise and guide prep cooks and utility staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, cooking standards according to specifications and Levy Core Signature standards.+ Enforce kitchen safety standards and food safety compliance, including proper food handling, cross-contamination prevention, and maintaining safe food temperatures.+ Oversee the preparation of ingredients, ensuring quality standards, and compliance with safety protocols; check food temperature during preparation, cooking, and storage.+ Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations; follow established safety standards for food handling, preparation, cooking, and storage+ Perform prep duties, such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing other ingredients according to recipes and production sheets.+ Ensure all kitchen equipment and stations are properly cleaned and maintained, following safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.+ Supervise equipment usage and cleanliness within the kitchen.+ Assist with inventory management, ensuring ingredients are stocked; complete production logs and monitor portion control and waste.+ Work collaboratively with Culinary team to ensure timely service and efficient operations.+ Assists with all event types including catering, department specific products, game day events.+ All other duties as assigned**Qualifications:**+ Experience in food preparation or culinary arts, large-volume kitchen experience preferred.+ 5 years' experience in a Lead or Supervisory Culinary role preferred.+ Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, knife skills, and kitchen operations.+ Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment.+ Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and HACCP guidelines.+ Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.+ This position may require the following valid certifications, Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.+ Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.**Physical Requirements:**+ Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands.+ Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment.+ Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.+ Manual dexterity and coordination to perform tasks such as chopping, cutting, and food preparation.+ Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and ascending/descending stairs as necessary+ Frequently required to use fingers and hands to operate equipment**Apply to Levy today!**_Levy is a member of Compass Group USA_Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story ( Group is an equal opportunity employer.
