We are seeking a Lead Laboratory Technician to oversee daily operations in an animal diagnostic reference lab, including performing tests, supervising staff, and ensuring quality results.
Responsibilities include supervising analyses, assigning tasks, resolving issues, coaching staff, maintaining equipment, coordinating workflows, and managing supplies.
Qualifications include a high school diploma, with a preference for a science degree or clinical lab experience, and prior leadership experience.
Skills required are strong laboratory, communication, and organizational abilities, along with PC proficiency. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a biohazard environment.
