Role Description
This is a temporary seasonal role for a Lead Line Cook at Portside Restaurant, located in Westport, NY. The Lead Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items, ensuring high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dishes to our guests. Daily tasks include food preparation, maintaining inventory of ingredients, and ensuring the fry station is operating efficiently throughout service hours.
Qualifications
Cooking, Frying, and Food Preparation skills
Experience in the Food & Beverage industry
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
