Management Responsibilities
Assist Production Manager in oversight of lawn crew operations, routing, and logistics
Manage and Oversee personnel during winter hours with a focus on reducing non billable time and maximizing efficiency
Assist with managing snow removal operations
Assist with covering for Maintenance Production Manager during scheduled time off
Manage snow removal operations during Zero Tolerance and sidewalk only events
Assist Production Manager create and implement processes that maintain and improve gross profit through efficiencies
Manage equipment and staff amongst crews to complete lawn care jobs
Identify equipment repair and new equipment needs and communicate to Maintenance Production Manager
Assist with developing and tracking safety training programs for maintenance staff and ensures all team members are properly trained to operate any equipment they may be required to operate
Enforce policies restricting team members from operating equipment they have not been properly trained to operate
Oversee the quality control process and hold Maintenance Foremen and Technicians accountable for implementation
Address problematic situations and devise solutions to arrive at best outcomes for the organization
Identify and document issues using 503s and Performance Improvement Plans
Work alongside crews as needed to identify root cause of problems
Assist Maintenance Production Manager supervise the work of professionals within maintenance department to include recruitment, training, performance management, compensation, mentoring, skill development, skill utilization, retention and promotion
Work with Foremen to provide 60-day reviews for all new hires
Manage and oversee general policy compliance within the lawn crews and maintenance division
Promote communication and cooperation between lawn crews and specialists to create a spirit of unity in the division
Drive the culture from the top
Perform other related duties to benefit the vision and growth of the company
Attend weekly 1-on-1 meeting with Maintenance Production Manager
Project Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day crew tasks including but not limited to lawn mowing, power raking, landscape bed maintenance, spring and fall cleanups, fall leaf removal, and other lawn and landscape maintenance tasks.
Oversee your maintenance crew, making sure they are on track and being productive
Communicate with clients in a professional manner. Use knowledge of turf grass and landscape industry to inform and educate clients.
Able to use outdoor maintenance and power equipment, variety of hand tools, and legally operate a motor vehicle.
Willingness to work as part of a team or alone, in all weather conditions.
Ability to perform moderately heavy physical labor on a daily basis.
Personal Responsibilities
Assess what needs to be done on the routed sites each day. Set goals for your crew each day. Hold crew accountable for their productivity. Keep production manager/account manager informed regarding crew member productivity and efficiency.
Acknowledge and solve personnel issues amongst crew members
Timely input of hours on LMN software to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Follow uniform policy and all policies as specified in the Team Member Handbook. Hold crew members accountable for following policies.
Hold crew members accountable for being on time to work, and doing their respective duties.
Hold crew members accountable for the way they treat company property.
Mandate a hour lunch and (2) ten-minute breaks when time allows.
General Responsibilities
Put in the hours necessary to make sure the job is getting done on time including weekend and holidays if necessary.
Assist in maintaining all Weller Brothers equipment.
Make decisions that are in the best interest of the company.
Other duties needed to help drive and fulfill the Weller Brothers Mission.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 18 years old
2-5 years lawncare experience
2-5 years leadership experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Team members must be able to perform the following tasks during a typical 8+hour day.
Sedentary work: Lifting up to 10#; occasionally lifting or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Work essentially involves sitting and is considered sedentary if only a small amount of walking and standing is necessary to carry out duties.
Light work: Lifting up to 20#, frequently lifting of carrying objects up to 10#. Work is classified light if it requires walking or standing to a significant degree (regardless of weight lifted) or involves sitting most of the time with a degree or pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls.
Light medium work: Lifting up to 30#; frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 20#.
Medium work: Lifting up to 50#; frequent lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 25#.
Light heavy work: Lifting up to 80#; frequent lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 45#.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time exempt position. Specific schedules will be determined based on weather and general needs of the business.
