Sayres is seeking an experiencedLead Maintenance, Material Management & Logistics (3M) SMEin San Diego, CA with a SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS.

Position Summary

The Lead 3M SME provides subject matter expertise on Navy maintenance management, logistics systems, quality assurance, and readiness programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assess shipboard 3M program execution.
  • Evaluate maintenance documentation and quality assurance practices.
  • Review logistics processes and supply support effectiveness.
  • Analyze maintenance management databases and readiness metrics.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 15 years managing Navy 3M programs.
  • Experience as a Command 3M Coordinator across multiple platforms.
  • Experience equivalent to Navy Quality Assurance Officer.
  • Direct experience with Navy maintenance and logistics systems within the past five years.
  • 25+ years highly desirable.

Occasional travel may be required. Support is primarily based in San Diego, CA, with occasional travel to Navy fleet concentration areas including Everett, WA; Pearl Harbor, HI; Sasebo, Japan; Yokosuka, Japan; and Singapore, as well as other customer locations as required.

Salary Range: $90,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience.Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
