Vista Aircraft Maintenance Red Wing is seeking to hire a highly skilled Lead A&P Technician to support our FAA Part 145 Repair Station. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience with Citation 560 and X, Challenger 300/350, and Bombardier Global series aircraft. This role requires ensuring all maintenance activities meet FAA, manufacturer, and company standards, while supervising and mentoring technicians in a structured repair station environment.
Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider for Vista Members’ unrivaled fleet of over 300 aircraft worldwide, including light, super mid-size, long-range, and ultra-long-range models, with maintenance hubs strategically located across the U.S. and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on Citation 560/X, Challenger 300/350, and Bombardier Global aircraft within a Part 145 Repair Station.
Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with FAA regulations, repair station manuals, and customer requirements.
Direct, mentor, and assist technicians, ensuring tasks are performed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Troubleshoot complex systems including avionics, hydraulics, structures, and engines, providing technical expertise and solutions.
Review and approve work order documentation, log entries, and forms in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate daily workflow, prioritize projects, and communicate progress to the Accountable Manager and management team.
Ensure tooling, equipment, and materials are properly used, maintained, and calibrated per repair station requirements.
Assist with internal audits, quality inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
Act as a liaison when needed, providing updates on project status and technical findings.
Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to continuous improvement processes.
