Lead Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of a residential apartment community by performing maintenance repairs, leading the maintenance team, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete and oversee maintenance service requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Prioritize and assign daily maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
• Maintain maintenance tools, supplies, and inventory.
• Oversee work performed by outside vendors and contractors, as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

​Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of residential property maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to lead a team while working effectively with management and fellow team members.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely perform the physical demands of the position.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
