    Accredo Packaging, Inc. manufactures and supplies sustainable, high added value flexible packaging predominantly for the pre-packaged foods and consumer products markets in North America. We achieve state of the art, yet environmentally responsible, flexible packaging conversions by combining the best people in the industry with the latest available technologies.

    We are currently seeking a day shift Lead Maintenance Technician for our Sugar Land, Texas facility. The shift is Monday through Friday with some weekends. Applicants must have an electrical and/or mechanical maintenance background, as well as leadership experience.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    •     Keep crew organized and productive
    • o    
    • Control the efficient operation of all production equipment by leading and organizing the team performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic repair and preventive maintenance
    •     Serve as point of contact for management
    • o    
    • Assure the preventative maintenance program is conducted and report improvements or upgrades to our preventative maintenance schedule
    • o    
    • Provide emergency/ unscheduled repairs promptly to minimize downtime
    • o    
    • Inform the appropriate facility personnel/ supervisor of any necessary modifications or system malfunctions that would affect the area of operation

    Help crew effectively execute the following tasks:

    • o    
    • Observe all OSHA and facility safety rules and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment; report all injuries, accidents, and hazards immediately
    • o    
    • Follow all established Food Safety guidelines and GMPs, including maintaining an orderly and clean work environment
    • o    
    • Promote equipment safety and develop programs to respond to unexpected or emergencies
    • o    
    • Read equipment manuals and other sources of information to assure appropriate operation and repair of equipment
    • o    
    • Audit and monitor systems, equipment logs, program logs, and team effectiveness
    • o    
    • Monitor, complete, and maintain efficient and accurate paperwork as needed

    The ideal candidate shall possess the following:

    •     Minimum 5 years of leadership experienceGeneral electrical and/or mechanical experience
    •     Experience with multi-layer extrusion equipment, specifically Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H)Experience with printing presses, specifically Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) brand
    •     Experience with roll slitting machines, specifically Kampf and Deacro brandsExperience with wicketing machines, specifically LEMO brand
    •     Experience with pouching machines, specifically Totani brandAbility to operate Forklift, Scissor Lift and Articulating Boom LiftExperience with Maintenance Connection (CMMS) – a plus
