How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Lead daily imaging operations to optimize workflow, ensuring our clinical team delivers seamless, high-quality patient care.
  • Mentor and coach department staff through hands-on orientation and training, fostering a supportive environment focused on continuous professional growth.
  • Oversee rigorous quality control and equipment maintenance to guarantee safe, accurate diagnostic testing that physicians and patients can trust.
  • Perform precise patient positioning and technical parameter selection, ensuring a compassionate patient experience and the highest standard of diagnostic accuracy.
  • Uphold regulatory and PACS compliance by ensuring the absolute accuracy of documentation and image submissions, protecting both patient data and institutional standards.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate''s degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we''re seeking

  • 5+ years experience in high volume breast imaging department
  • Extensive knowledge of MQSA, ACR, and QC
