Responsibilities:
  • Lead manual testing efforts for a CRM project, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
  • Own and drive quality standards for the project, ensuring thorough and well-documented test coverage

  • Review and validate business and functional requirements to ensure they are fully testable and covered
  • Serve as the QA lead on the project, coordinating testing activities and priorities across teams
  • Identify, document, track, and validate defects; work closely with development teams to confirm fixes and prevent regressions
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and release readiness reviews
  • Provide clear testing status updates, quality metrics, and risk assessments to project leadership
  • Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users
  • Act as a strong advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in manual quality assurance/testing within complex application environments
  • Prior experience in a Lead QA or Senior QA role
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Proven ability to create comprehensive test cases, including negative and edge-case scenarios
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and comfort owning quality outcomes in a complex environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience testing CRM platforms, ideally Pega Systems CRM
  • Experience with Rally (CA Agile Central) is a plus; however, experience with similar Agile and test/defect management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, ALM, TestRail, or comparable platforms) is also acceptable
  • Exposure to Project Management and/or Business Analysis activities (e.g., working closely with PMs and BAs, supporting requirements review, understanding project timelines and dependencies)
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale CRM implementations
  • Background in large enterprise or government/public-sector environments
  • Familiarity with regulatory or compliance-driven systems
  • Basic SQL or data validation experience (nice to have)
