What you will do as a Lead Math Instructor STEM College Student:

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

What we are looking for in a Lead Math Instructor STEM College Student:

• Passion for math and education \u2014 helping students build confidence and mastery
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills \u2014 able to connect with students, parents, and colleagues
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow through ongoing training
• Math proficiency through at least Algebra II (Statistics or Calculus strongly preferred)
• Reliability, professionalism, and ability to work as part of a team
• College-level coursework in math, education, or STEM is highly desirable

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
