Own the Process. Shape the Precision.
Based in West Chester, PA, you will be the go-to technical leader who takes complex medical device components from concept to production on Mazak 5-axis and multi-tasking platforms. This is a hands-on role where you’ll split time between programming, setting up machines, and validating processes on the floor—far from a desk-only assignment.
Compensation & Rewards
- $35–$45 per hour, based on experience
- Overtime opportunities
- Shift Differentials: +15% (2nd), +30% (3rd)
- Weekend premium opportunities
- Relocation assistance available
- Potential annual earnings: $95,000–$120,000+
The Machines You’ll Command
- Mazak Variaxis 5-Axis Machining Centers
- Mazak Integrex 100 and 200 with lower turrets
- Mazatrol programming systems
- Mastercam CAD/CAM
- Advanced multi-axis milling and turning technology
A Day in the Life
You’ll architect machining strategies, write programs in Mazatrol and Mastercam, set up and prove out the first piece, and carry that part through first article inspection and process validation. You’ll tune tooling, fixturing, and workholding for optimal stability, squash cycle time, and guide machinists to consistent, on-time, zero-defect production.
What You’ll Manufacture
Highly engineered medical components requiring:
- Ultra-tight tolerances and critical geometries
- Superior surface finishes
- Complex multi-axis toolpaths
Typical materials:
- Stainless steel, titanium, specialty alloys
