    Uptown Animal Hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington is seeking a Medical Director to lead our dedicated and client centered team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about mentorship, team development, and practicing exceptional medicine while helping shape the future of a growing hospital.

    About Us

    We are an AAHA accredited small animal hospital known for our warm, educational approach and commitment to preventative care. Our experienced veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, and compassionate support team work together in a collaborative, low drama environment where patient care and team culture are top priorities.

    Our modern facility includes digital radiography, in house diagnostics, and a full surgical suite, allowing our doctors to manage a diverse caseload with the support and tools needed to provide excellent care.

    About the Role

    As Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to lead a supportive and talented medical team while still practicing medicine and surgery. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys mentoring others, supporting hospital growth, improving workflows, and fostering a positive team culture.

    You will partner closely with hospital leadership to help guide medical standards, team development, and overall hospital success while maintaining a healthy work life balance.
