The role

• Assemble, align, and test complex mechanical components and systems per specifications and prints.
• Inspect builds, diagnose faults, and implement fixes to achieve peak performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to enhance assembly workflows and inform design changes.
• Provide hands-on training and guidance to junior technicians.
• Document assembly steps, measurements, and quality outcomes thoroughly and accurately.
• Follow safety procedures rigorously and maintain a neat, efficient work area.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to increase throughput and limit waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in mechanical assembly preferred.
• At least 5 years assembling mechanical systems, including complex or multi-technology builds.
• Strong command of mechanical principles, tools, fixtures, and assembly techniques.
• Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Exceptional problem-solving ability with high attention to detail.
• Works well independently and collaborates effectively within teams.
• Excellent communicator with a positive, can-do approach.
