Our engineering services client is seeking a
Lead Mechanical Process Engineer to design and deliver utility systems for industrial facilities. This role will lead process engineering efforts, support multidisciplinary project teams, and serve as a technical resource throughout project execution. This position is based in
Green Bay, WI. Remote consideration may be available for qualified U.S.-based candidates who can travel as needed to support client projects, field work, and team collaboration.

Location: Green Bay, WI (Remote Considered)
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Design and engineer industrial utility systems including steam, refrigeration/ammonia, compressed air, HVAC, compressed gases, and water systems
- Develop equipment specifications, process documentation, and technical reports
- Create mass and energy balances, P&IDs, equipment lists, and connection documentation
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal project teams
- Support project estimating, proposal development, construction, startup, and commissioning activities
- Conduct site surveys and evaluate existing conditions
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
- 7+ years of experience with industrial utility systems, including:
- Steam Systems
- Refrigeration/Ammonia Systems
- Compressed Air Systems
- HVAC Systems
- Compressed Gas Systems
- Industrial Water Systems
- Experience developing P&IDs, process calculations, and equipment specifications
Preferred Qualifications- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Industrial HVAC experience
- Dust Collection/Dust Control system experience
