Lead Mobile Imaging Service Coordinator

This is an on-site, office-based position located at our Sioux Falls site at 109 South Petro Avenue. This position requires an on-site work arrangement; remote or hybrid options are not available.

The Lead Mobile Imaging Service Coordinator serves as a subject matter expert and escalation resource for the Mobile Imaging Service Coordination team. This role coordinates medical imaging equipment service activities, provides advanced problem-solving support, and promotes consistent workflows to ensure timely resolution of service requests. The Lead Coordinator collaborates with field service engineers, vendors, technologists, drivers, and healthcare facility partners to support equipment uptime and deliver exceptional customer service. This position participates in a rotating on-call schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

This is a daytime schedule working shifts between the hours of 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday and will include a rotating on call schedule once every three weeks. Earn $250/week for the on-call schedule and pay for actual hours worked during this time. The on-call schedule is from 6:00 p.m.-midnight, and from 5:00-7:00 a.m., CST Monday-Friday and from 5:00 a.m.-midnight, CST, on Saturdays, Sundays, and DMS observed holidays.

Essential Duties:

  1. Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation resource for the Mobile Imaging Service Coordination team, supporting complex service issues and workflow questions and coordination.
  2. Coordinate medical imaging equipment service requests from healthcare facilities, technologists, drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
  3. Assess, prioritize, and document service requests while ensuring accurate ticket creation and timely follow-up through resolution.
  4. Coordinate scheduling and communication with field service engineers, vendors, and customers to support equipment uptime and exceptional service delivery.
  5. Provide proactive updates regarding service status, delays, and resolution plans to maintain strong customer relationships.
  6. Ensure service records, documentation, purchase orders, and customer information are accurate and maintained in service management systems.
  7. Support preventive maintenance activities, service reporting, and compliance with quality and company standards.
  8. Assist with onboarding and knowledge sharing for team members and help identify opportunities to improve processes and service efficiency.
  9. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  10. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of customer service, service coordination, healthcare, or medical equipment support experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer needs and serve as a resource for others.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact professionally with clinical, technical, and operational teams.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing demands and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, service management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused when handling urgent or high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ability to work independently.
