Our client is seeking a Mold Lead.  This is an on-site, direct-hire opportunity and is for any shift.

Summary:

  • Oversee daily mold production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Manage and train mold team members on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to mold production.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align production goals and schedules.

Job Description:
  • Technical Expertise 
    • Minimum 5 years of molding experience.
    • Precision skill managing mold temperature control systems.
    • Expert capability optimizing degas cycles and cure times.
    • Ability to troubleshoot flash, voids, and under-cure issues.
    • Strong competence reading blueprints and GD&T data.
  • Technical & People Leadership
    • Minimum 2 years leading production teams or shifts.
    • Proven track record mentoring and developing junior operators.
    • Active champion for plant safety and LOTO compliance.
    • Lead investigator for root-cause analysis on defects.
    • Skilled coordinator across Quality, Tooling, and Maintenance.
    • Calm decision-maker during high-stress operational downtime
