- Perform MRI scans on patients as requested by physicians
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure accurate imaging
- Collaborate with radiologists to assist in diagnostic evaluations
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functionality
- Provide patient care and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Proven experience as an MRI Technologist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes
- Certification in MRI Technology or Radiologic Technology
Qualifications:- Minimum 3 years inpatient and outpatient MRI experience
- Experience in staff selection, coaching, scheduling, payroll/timekeeping, and budgeting
- Must be registered within 6 months of hire (ARRT) or 12 months (ARMRIT)
- Demonstrated ability to operate MRI scanners safely and competently, follow scanning protocols, and adjust protocols as needed
- Experience with patient safety screening for contraindications (e.g., pacemakers, metal implants)
- Proficiency in PACS and Meditech systems for image review, verification, and documentation
Compensation: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-10 hour shift
- Monday to Saturday Availability
