Johns Hopkins Imaging at Wilde Lake in Columbia is currently searching for a Lead MRI Technologist to help lead our elite Radiology team. As a Lead MRI tech you will:

  • Perform MRI scans
  • Orient Physicians, residents, staff and student technologist in objectives and applications of MRI and safety
  • Perform Quality Control for MRI
  • Work closely with the imaging site technical educator to identify any training or image quality concerns

What Awaits You?

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of AMA approved program in Radiology Technology OR Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technical program
  • ARMRIT certification OR ARRT credentialed with current registration
  • Advanced ARRT certification within one year of employment
  • CPR certification within three (3) months of employment
  • One (1) year of clinical imaging experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills necessary to coordinate patient flow and promote team work among peers and technologists

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day shift

8 hour shifts

Saturday/Sunday and 1-2 days during the week

Salary Range: Minimum 48.40/hour - Maximum 79.92/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
