Coordinates the technician non-sterile compounding workflow, assists in developing and implementing process changes. Assist operations specialists in ensuring compliance with all regulatory directives including USP -NF 795 and 800 under the supervision of a pharmacist. Provides user training on the machines and troubleshoots issues as needed.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years prior hospital pharmacy technician experience required. Previous non -sterile compounding experience required
LICENSURE
Current registration/licensure or eligible for registration (obtained prior to start date) as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of employment, as outlined by the respective State regulatory agencies. Active Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification, or equivalent, is required on, or within 12 months of, date of hire.
SPECIAL SKILLS
18 years of age or older. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong knowledge of USP 795 and related workflows.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
