Expected pay for this position is $45.21 - $59.18/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist will act as a subject matter expert for the department to include; onboarding, communication, equipment maintenance, scheduling, and resolving safety, patient and team member concerns. Performs all nuclear imaging studies and administration of radiopharmaceuticals while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner who is licensed, as required, to possess and use radioactive materials, for the purposes of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and within the scope of their license.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program

 

Experience:

- One year Nuclear Medicine Experience

 

Licensure/Certifications:

- IEMA Licensure Required 

- NMTCB or ARRT (N) 

- Basic Life Support certification American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

- Bachelor’s Degree

 

Experience:

- Three years Nuclear Medicine
