Position Overview:

The Retail Team Lead, Operations will partner with the Store Management Team and assist in the execution of plans and strategies for their store location. They will support all store functions including, people management & engagement, customer experience and operational efficiency while ensuring excellence in all areas. With previous people management experience and store operations expertise, you will build outstanding experiences that allows customers to continuously conquer the outdoors!

What You’ll Do: 

  • Achieve or exceedpersonalsales targets and support the store’s overalltarget 

  • Support in the training of standard operating procedures, while ensuring teammates havean accurateunderstanding of product and brandhistory 

  • Coach and mentor teammates to improve performance and develop key operational skills that elevate the customerexperience 

  • Identifyexternal talent fortheretail business and support in recruiting,onboardingand developing newteammates 

  • Drive employee engagement through performance recognition and development 

  • Follow store operating procedures to minimize storeshrink  

  • Ensure overall accuracy in inventory and organization and accessibility of Canada Goose’sproducts 

  • Assistwith payroll and schedulemanagement  

  • Supervise inbound and outbound shipment, replenishment, damages, return to vendor, etc. 

  • Perform store opening and closing procedures in alignment with companystandards 

  • Regularly review company’s email and other communication tools to ensure messages are shared with the teamin a timelymanner 

  • Leverage brand storytelling and visual merchandising to develop strategies to improve productperformance  

 

Let’sTalk About You: 

  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience 

  • Previousexperience working with affluent and luxury brands in high trafficlocations 

  • Excellent knowledge of inventory, scheduling, and payroll management 

  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of retail math and metrics  

  • Strategically agile with a keen attention to detail 

  • Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 

  • ConsistentlyexhibitsCanada Goose’s Values, taking pride in being innovative, authentic, passionate, relentless, andentrepreneurial 

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word and Excel 

  • Bonus points forproficiencyin another language
