**Central Transfer & Recycle Center (CRC)** , a Waste Connections company, is currently hiring for a full-time Lead Operator to work in our transfer station in Vancouver, WA.
The schedule will be 10:00am to around 6:30pm on weekdays and 6:00am to around 4:30pm on Saturday and Sunday, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off.
The starting wage will be $32/hour to start. We also offer great family benefits, 401k with a company match, paid vacation time, etc.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Operating a forklift and baler.
+ Buying and sorting out materials from customers.
+ Greeting, directing, discussing issues with, and educating customers of onsite rules and restrictions in a polite and courteous manner
+ Directing and tracking incoming traffic and monitoring waste material flow
+ Sorting customer loads - heavy lifting of metals
+ Following all appropriate safety guidelines and precautions, wearing required safety gear, and maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times
+ Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
+ Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
+ Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
+ Ability to safety operate equipment on site (forklift, skidsteer, baler)
+ Ability to provide good customer service to the public.
+ Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
+ Basic knowledge of computer skills.
