Lead Ophthalmology Technician - Full-Time | No Weekends - Denver, CO

A growing private ophthalmology practice in Denver, Colorado is looking to hire an experienced Lead Ophthalmology Technician!

We are seeking a motivated leader who has experience in a high-volume ophthalmology practice, takes initiative, sees the big picture, and enjoys mentoring others. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and ready to play a key leadership role both in clinic and in the operating room.

DETAILS

• Full-Time
• Monday-Friday
• 8:00am-5:00pm
• Assist with cataract and LASIK surgeries
• Oversee technician scheduling and daily workflow
• Order and maintain clinical supplies and inventory
• Train and mentor new technicians
• Occasional travel 1-2 days per month to a nearby office

COMPENSATION + BENEFITS

• $31-$32 per hour, based on experience
• Health and Dental insurance available after 2 months
• 401(k)
• Mileage reimbursement for travel

REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES

• Minimum of 5 years of ophthalmology experience required
• 2-3 years of Lead Technician experience required
• Strong refraction skills required
• Experience working in a large, fast-paced ophthalmology practice strongly preferred
• Self-starter who takes ownership, anticipates practice needs, and helps keep the clinic running efficiently
• COA/COT certification is helpful but not required
