Lead Oracle Database Developer with SSIS and SSRS

Description

This project involves the upgrading and combining of various aging systems into one comprehensive Homeless Information Management System (HMIS). In this role, they will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing our organization's databases to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and data integrity. They will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and IT teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives. Generate and distribute standard & complex reports and dashboards. Maintain detailed logs of data management activities and issues.

Duties

• Participate in meetings to understand data needs and communicate updates on data status.
• Maintain detailed logs of data management activities and issues.
• Stay updated on company data policies, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Learn new data management tools and technologies as required.
• Complete all assigned tasks.
• Assist in documenting data sources, definitions, and lineage (data dictionaries, metadata).
• Execute complex queries (using SQL or similar) to extract data for reports or analysis as requested.
• Ensures that project goals/objectives are met.

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience (15+ Years)
• Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.

Requirements

• This is an 100% Onsite.
• A Bachelor's Degree
• 84 months experience in designing logical and physical database models.
• 84 months experience designing oracle databases including triggers and packages.
• 84 months experience in performing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) techniques and flagging any failures.
• 60 months experience with SSIS design and development.
• 60 months experience using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS).
• 60 months experience in in SQL programming including writing complex queries utilizing JSON in Oracle.
• 36 months experience with participating in meetings to understand data needs and communicate updates on data status. Maintaining detailed logs of data management activities and issues.
