About the Role:
Quality Painting LLC is looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Painter to join our growing team in St. Clair County MI. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of painting projects from start to finish while guiding a crew to deliver top-quality results. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise painting crews on residential and/or commercial job sites
• Perform interior and exterior painting, including brush, roller, and spray application techniques
• Prepare surfaces through scraping, sanding, patching, and priming prior to painting
• Interpret project plans and communicate daily goals and expectations to crew members
• Ensure quality control standards are met on every project
• Manage job site safety, cleanliness, and proper use of tools and equipment
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure timely project completion

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional painting experience (residential and/or commercial)
• Previous lead or supervisory experience on painting crews preferred
• Proficiency in surface preparation, paint application, and finishing techniques
• Knowledge of paints, stains, coatings, and proper material selection
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
