Are you an experienced dental front office professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for working with children and families? Our growing pediatric dental practice is looking for a Lead Dental Front Desk Coordinator who is organized, positive, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience.
About the Role:
As our Lead Dental Front Desk Coordinator , you will lead the front office team while ensuring smooth daily operations and outstanding customer service. You'll be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and family-friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support front office team members.
- Oversee daily front desk operations and patient flow.
- Schedule appointments and optimize provider schedules.
- Verify insurance benefits and assist with treatment estimates.
- Manage patient accounts, payments, and collections.
- Handle patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Train new front office staff and ensure adherence to office policies.
- Monitor office performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of dental front office experience REQUIRED (pediatric dental experience preferred).
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Bilingual, Spanish Preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures.
- Experience with dental practice management software, Eaglesoft, Oryx.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
- Positive attitude, dependable, and a team-oriented mindset.
