Lead Perception Engineer

Job Description
A growing robotics company just outside of Boston is hiring a Lead Perception Engineer to help drive the development of advanced perception and machine learning systems for next-generation automation technology.

This role will focus on developing and deploying perception solutions that enable intelligent robotic systems to operate reliably in real-world environments. You'll work closely with cross-functional engineering teams while contributing to technical strategy, system architecture, and hands-on development efforts.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with computer vision, machine learning, and robotics systems
• Proficiency with Python and C++
• Experience developing perception solutions for real-world applications
• Experience with modern machine learning frameworks and computer vision tools
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with autonomous systems, industrial automation, or robotics
• 4+ years of development experience
• Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent experience in a relevant field
