Pay Range: $50-$56/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Performance Engineer with 12+ years of expertise in performance engineering, performance testing, and application scalability. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of enterprise performance testing strategies for cloud-native and web applications, with hands-on expertise in Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, Gatling, Dynatrace, DataDog, and API performance testing.

The candidate should possess strong experience in performance monitoring, bottleneck analysis, CI/CD integration, and modern web technologies including Next.js. This role requires close collaboration with Development, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams to ensure highly scalable, reliable, and performant applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance engineering initiatives for enterprise applications.
• Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for web, API, and cloud-native applications.
• Build and maintain performance test frameworks using Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, and Gatling.
• Develop and execute:
  • Load Testing
  • Stress Testing
  • Endurance (Soak) Testing
  • Scalability Testing
  • Volume Testing
• Design and maintain automated performance test suites for Next.js applications.
• Perform API performance testing for REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML services.
• Analyze performance test results and identify application, infrastructure, and database bottlenecks.
• Monitor application health and infrastructure using Dynatrace, DataDog, and APM tools.
• Analyze CPU, Memory, JVM, Garbage Collection (GC), Network, Disk I/O, and Thread utilization.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to optimize system performance.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Prepare detailed performance reports, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Mentor junior performance engineers and establish performance testing best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering.
• Strong expertise in enterprise application performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter and other performance testing tools.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud applications.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
