Location: Baltimore, MD

Facility: Ascension St. Agnes Hospital 

Department/Specialty: Inpatient

Schedule: Days | Full-time

Salary Range: $27.24 - $37.97 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Lead shift operations and assign and monitoring daily tasks for pharmacy technicians  
  • Resolve scheduling issues and participate in department-wide problem-solving to mitigate operational bottlenecks.
  • Serve as a technical resource, working alongside the team and performing technician duties as needed.
  • Monitor, review, and report on team compliance with all internal policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide valuable input into the hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance evaluation of pharmacy technicians.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

 

Required Credential(s):

  • One or more of the following:
    • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • 1 year dedicated to IV/sterile compounding experience
  • IV Certification is preferred
  • Deep functional understanding of USP and USP regulations, aseptic technique, and medical terminology
