Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Pilates Instructor to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates, experience leading a team, and a commitment to helping clients achieve their fitness goals through effective instruction and motivation. As the Lead Pilates Instructor, you will lead classes, provide personalized guidance, create an engaging environment that promotes health and wellness and most importantly lead your team of instructors.

Duties

  • Lead your team of instructors with education, growth and development, and manage the studio schedule
  • Conduct group Pilates classes, ensuring proper technique and form.
  • Lead global programmed workouts delivered by FS8 HQ.
  • Monitor participants' progress and provide feedback to enhance their performance.
  • Educate clients on the principles of body mechanics and anatomy as they relate to Pilates.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fitness instruction.
  • Collaborate with other fitness professionals to enhance program offerings.
Experience

  • Previous experience as a Pilates Instructor or in a related fitness role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, and program design is essential.
  • Experience in related fields such as yoga, personal training, sports coaching, kickboxing, or group fitness is a plus.
  • Familiarity with boutique group fitness environments can be beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate others are crucial for success in this role.

Qualifications:
  • 2-year minimum experience as a Pilates instructor
  •  Must hold a current Pilates certification
  •  Must have CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with members
  • Solid knowledge of biomechanics and exercise physiology
  • Motivated and passionate about health and fitness
  • Reliable and punctual with excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and afternoons
 
Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
