The Role

This is a hands-on lead plumber role focused on running commercial projects, leading a smallcrew, and keeping jobs moving from start to finish. You’ll be in the field most of the time doing thework while also planning schedules, coordinating with general contractors, and overseeing yourteam. This role is designed for someone who wants more than just a job, with a clear path intolong-term leadership and the opportunity to take on significant operational responsibility as thecompany grows.

What You’ll Do

Plan and schedule daily and weekly work across active job sites

Lead and manage a crew of up to 5 plumbers and apprentices

Perform plumbing work on primarily commercial new construction projects

Assign work and ensure jobs are completed correctly and on schedule

Communicate directly with general contractors, builders, and project partners

Coordinate materials, timelines, and job progress

Oversee installations, rough-ins, and final stages of projects

Track jobs and updates using JobTread

Maintain a clean, organized job site and hold the team accountable

Step into a leadership role while remaining hands-on in the field (majority of time)

Required:

3+ years of plumbing experience (commercial strongly preferred)

Journeyman license required; actively working toward Master Plumber license

Experience leading or mentoring other plumbers or apprentices

Strong attention to detail and quality of work

Self-starter who takes initiative without being managed closely

Comfortable working directly with contractors and job site stakeholders

Nice to Have:

Master Plumber license or actively preparing for the exam

Experience in residential new construction

Experience managing multiple jobs at once

Familiarity with JobTread or similar systems
