Responsibilities • Oversees work of team members during operations including accountability for job completion, materials selection, coordination of logistics, and overall welfare and performance of assigned personnel. Serves as a technical representative of the Building Official; acts as liaison between Building Safety and Permits Division staff and trade contractors and property owners regarding correction of work, additional work to complete construction, and appointments for inspections; acts as liaison with other jurisdictions inspection departments. |
Qualifications: • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma, preferably supplemented by courses in building or electrical construction technology and considerable experience in the electrical or mechanical trades; or fire protection, elevator, or property maintenance work. |
