Help launch something special for Manchester’s youngest learners.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester is seeking a Lead Pre-K Teacher for our new program serving children ages 4 and 5 at the Jordan Singer Youth Enrichment Center. Located in the state-of-the-art Mark Stebbins Community Center, our program will serve just 24 children, creating an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and families.
Summary
The Lead Pre-K Teacher is a hands-on classroom teaching position focused on creating a warm, welcoming environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. You will spend your days actively teaching and engaging with children in the classroom, leading daily activities, supporting social-emotional development, and creating meaningful learning experiences.
As part of launching a new Pre-K program, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the classroom environment and establish routines and traditions from the beginning. You’ll work closely with a supportive team while remaining focused on what matters most: teaching, connecting with children, and helping each child build a strong foundation for learning.
This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys being in the classroom, working directly with children, creating a positive, nurturing learning environment.
The Lead Pre-K teacher ensures the program meets all applicable state childcare regulations and reflects the Club's mission of enabling all young people to reach their full potential. This position requires a self-starter with deep knowledge of early childhood development and the operational drive to build something from the ground up.
