Pay:$15.00–$18.00 per hour (based on education & experience)


Schedule Options:


  • Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Monday–Thursday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Enjoy a 3-day weekend!)

At Tiny Town Childcare & Learning Center, we believe preschool should be filled with curiosity, confidence, laughter, and learning! We're looking for an enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to lead our second preschool classroom, where you'll enjoy a small class size of just 9 children—giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide individualized learning experiences every day.

Your Day Will Include


Planning engaging, play-based lessons that encourage kindergarten readiness.


Teaching early literacy, phonics, math, science, and social studies through fun, hands-on experiences.


Helping children build confidence, independence, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love of learning.


Supporting social and emotional development by teaching kindness, friendship, teamwork, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution.


Creating a classroom where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited to explore.


Building strong partnerships with families through daily communication.


Maintaining a clean, organized classroom while following Ohio licensing requirements.

Qualifications


  • Experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CDA, Associate Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day, including sitting on the floor, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and participating in indoor and outdoor activities.
