Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor each child's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Lead group activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and improve curriculum delivery.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and center policies regarding health and safety.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred, or CDA
- State certification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Creative, patient, and passionate about fostering a love for learning.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
