Lead Preschool Teacher

Location: The Learning Experience - Manassas City, VA

Pay: $18-$20 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)

Lead Preschool Teacher - School Readiness Classroom

The Learning Experience - Manassas City is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher to guide children ages 3-5 in a structured classroom focused on kindergarten readiness, independence, and early academic development.

This role is ideal for educators who enjoy leading a classroom team and supporting young learners through engaging learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily instruction for preschool-aged children
• Support early literacy, math readiness, and social-emotional development
• Maintain consistent classroom routines and learning centers
• Guide assistant teachers and support classroom organization
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and classroom updates
• Ensure compliance with Virginia licensing standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Prior childcare experience required
• Experience leading a preschool classroom preferred
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
