Location: The Learning Experience – Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY
Pay: $22–$25 per hour (based on education and experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday


Lead Pre-K Teacher – 4-Year-Old Classroom


The Learning Experience – Bushwick is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to guide our private Pre-K 4s classroom. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys preparing children for kindergarten through engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences in a nurturing environment.


As the Lead Teacher, you'll create a classroom where children build confidence, independence, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love of learning using The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines and educational activities for a Pre-K 4s classroom
  
  
• Implement engaging lessons that support kindergarten readiness
  
  
• Foster children's language, literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development
  
  
• Create a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment
  
  
• Mentor assistant teachers and promote classroom consistency
  
  
• Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication
  
  
• Observe, document, and support children's developmental progress
  
  
• Ensure compliance with all New York State and NYC health, safety, and licensing requirements
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education required
  
  
• Previous preschool or Pre-K teaching experience preferred
  
  
• Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice
  
  
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  
  
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
  
  
• Must meet all New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
