Description We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Process Technician to join our fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of technicians, coordinating between inbound and outbound processes, and ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for process improvement to drive our team's success in meeting service level agreements and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. Key job responsibilities - Mentor, lead and develop a team of technicians with a focus on safety, people, quality, planning and sustainability every day - Monitor and report on key performance indicators and service level agreements - Facilitate shift handovers and communicate important information to transportation, quality, planners, procurement, and other related departments to resolve problems - Provide performance coaching and support to team members - Oversee and coordinate inbound and/or outbound processes - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper equipment usage - Monitor and prioritize urgent requests and high-priority tasks - Collaborate with your team on process improvements - Maintain quality control and accuracy in the warehouse operations - Ensure proper inventory management and storage practices - Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain operational efficiency A day in the life As a Lead Process Technician, you'll play a vital role in managing daily warehouse operations, working closely with our technicians to ensure smooth operations. Your day involves monitoring inbound and/or outbound processes, from coordinating inbound receiving to overseeing order fulfillment, while maintaining service level agreements and quality standards. You'll act as a key problem-solver, addressing urgent requests, and ensuring proper labor distribution across different areas. The role requires constant communication with various stakeholders to track performance metrics, and implement adjustments to meet operational targets. Basic Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalency certificate - Experience working with SAP/ERP systems - Experience leading a team - Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted - Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position - Standing up to 10 hours a day - Ability to work flexible shift assignments, including overtime and weekends as required, in a 24/7 operation environment Preferred Qualifications - Experience in an inventory or analytical role - General understanding of lean manufacturing - Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing fields - Detail oriented, organized, and demonstrates a high sense of urgency Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
